RE: wind turbine. Is this for real? is there a video somewhere? Hard to believe it as there are hundrests of wind turbines in Michigan.
Yes, I'm in the Dallas area, we have been dealing with the "rolling" outages. Our longest was nearly 9 hours with temps near zero.Over 4,000,000 homes without power right now in TX. Temps are single digits in much of the state.
The infrastructure was never designed for these temps. Being without electricity at these temperatures would be difficult and dangerous.
Yes, I sure wish I had one now but you probably couldn't find one within 500 miles of my house. Even if I ordered one off Amazon the crisis would probably be over by the time I got it, and in Dallas area we might not need it again for years but it sure would be nice to have one just in case.Agree, A generator is a must. (if I lose power, I lose water too)
