SmartPSS on macOS Catalina

The new version of macOS (10.15, Catalina) comes out in a few days and will no longer support 32-bit apps. The most recent version of SmartPSS I've been able to find is DH_SmartPSS_Eng_Mac_IS_V2.00.0.R.20180507_CodeSign. Unfortunately this is still a 32-bit only app, meaning it won't work for the majority of Mac users who will upgrade in the coming days.

Is there any indication that Dahua is working on a 64-bit build for Mac?

Are there similar apps that I should consider switching to?

Any recommendations for Mac apps with similar functionality? Of course native will always be better, but falling back to ONVIF isn't too bad.

I use both SecuritySpy and Sighthound with the GM/public release of Catalina with a small system (4 cameras). As far as SmartPSS, looks like I'll be just running that under a Mojave partition or another older Mac Mini running Windows 7 under Bootcamp. As for Security Spy and Sighthound, Security Spy has much better false trigger rejection than Sighthound, but Sighthound is pretty good at ID'ing vehicles, people or animals. It does a pretty good job of even people, even though they're riding a bike or motorcycle as well, although Security Spy will be adding more features. Sighthound uses far more resources too, 40% or so CPU use with a late 2012 Mac Mini with the 2.6 ghz i7 chip. Security Spy runs maybe 11% or 12% CPU use. As far as Catalina, no problems with SS in the last few betas and the GM release. Some crashes with SH though. And this was running my two primary cameras on each, a Sunba and Dahua PTZ's.

yeah same problem. I don't have any windows and don't really want to run VMs but it doesn't look like there is another option at this time. hopefully somebody's working on getting some 64bit software out soon. I see there's a config tool compiled on 64 bit already so maybe it will come soon. (Index of /images/Software/OSX)

meanwhile I was using an ipad to look at the NVR recordings ...

They may go the catalyst route and make mac versions of their ipad apps.

Mine is not working! Cant even install de app that crashes. Anyone could help me? Any update? I NEED TO SEE THE CAMERAS!
check if "security & Privacy" settings is checked on SmartPSS
