SmartPSS not showing entire day but WebGui is? What's up?

Hi,

I have 7 Dahua 5231 cameras connected to a Dahua NVR set to record 24/7

Recently when I tried to pull up a stream on SmartPSS I was missing part of the day but when I use Pale Moon to login to the NVR directly and go to the playback tab my entire day is there (as I would expect it to be). At first I thought that I might have only selected motion detection or IVS rule only in SmartPSS but I went back to see and I think everything looks normal to me as "all records" is selected in SmartPSS. I've placed a side by side comparison in the picture I've attached to show the missing part of my day in SmartPSS but then entire day is there for the WebGUI.

Thoughts? And thanks for taking a look!

Hi, can you verify if your pc's clock (date) is the same as on your NVR? I see the same SmartPSS image (with black banner) when looking at the current day (as recordings are not yet done), SmartPSS might be messed up with the 4/5/2019 (and not 5/4/2019), palemoon is probably working on remote date/time stamps.
 
Thanks for the reply. Yes I believe it's the same date because I can see the same video on each screen up until the video doesn't exist on SmartPSS. Strange man....

I got the same NVR as you have, in both webservice and smartPSS I have "working" bars, black from the "recording" point.

Are you on a decent recent firmware?
 
I'm seeing this exact problem since "upgrading" to version v2.002.0000007.0 . Never saw it with the previous version I used, which I think was v2.02.0 (but I'm not positive).
 
You know what? I just used my laptop which is still on SmartPSS 2.02 and it shows the entire day. When I use my desktop on SmartPSS v2.002.0000007.0 I do not see the entire day. Looks like there is a bug with the update - great catch @tigerwillow1 - maybe Andy can submit a bug to Dahua?

@EMPIRETECANDY can you let Dahua know that SmartPSS v2.002.0000007.0 is broken and does NOT show full day playback ?

SmartPSS 2.02 works and yes shows full day playback

I went back to version 2.02 and the bug described in the first post disappeared, as expected.
