Getting the hang of it
One of our suppliers is currently selling the
SD8A440-HNF-PA for £350 plus vat. Clearance sale so I guess it is becoming EOL.
This seems to be an extremley good price for a smart wiper fittd PTZ.
We are aware that it is a beast of a camera having the 1st 4K version of this cam. the wiper is the selling point for us on this occasion as the camera would be located on the roof of a 4 storey building looking down on a station and the lens of the existing camera often become obscured by rain. the Station area is very well lit with white LED lighting so would this model perform well at night?
However i notice that the PFA140 back box is not listed as a mounting option could this be due to the weight of the camera? We have had the 4K version mounted to a PFA140 for the last 2 years with no adverse effect and it is checked periodically.
