reset hikvision nvr

hello everybody,

Could anyone please help met to reset a password to default for a NVR from hikvision.
i tried the website thats available here but it doesnt work on this nvr.

like: admin password: 12345

What's the model numbers and firmware versions of the cameras that are assumed to be connected to the NVR?
You may have to use SADP and connect the PC to an unused NVR PoE port to find that.

If the camera firmware is 5.4.4 or earlier it may be possible to use the Trojan Horse method to extract the NVR admin password as opposed to resetting it to defaults.
