Problem with connect USB-TTL + NVR

Can someone tell me what the problem is. The terminal does not display any information when connected to the NVR.
Sequencing:
1. plug the device into a laptop.
2. Connecting the recorder and the device.
3. Launch the terminal (pre-configured)
4. Apply power to the NVR
The terminal does not give out any information ...

From the numbers you've labelled the NVR -
1=GND
2=Rx
3=Tx

But I'm not so sure about the connector - it's not quite the same as the ones I've seen.
Check it carefully - it does look to me like the wiring sequence is reversed.
