Probably varies with the (unspecified) product - however, from some IMOU bullet camera product info :
If you must extend it, you could use a voltage drop calculator at calculator.net to determine the wire gauge needed based on the camera's max current draw and the distance the DC must travel from the power supply to the camera.
The specs say it uses a 12VDC power supply at 1.0 amps. I chose #14 AWG for 1.0 Amps load for 25 meters and achieved 3.46% voltage drop down to 11.58 VDC which is acceptable. Plug in your distance and if the voltage drop goes above 5%, go to the next larger conductor, find its resistance (Ohms) per km in the chart and plug that in then re-calculate. Again, strive to keep the drop below 5% by either shortening the wire distance or using a larger wire size.

if 3 meters long . thats just right i have been running power sockets in garage and house in advance so the length would be ok
