We've seen images posted by forum members of creative ways to hide cameras: birdhouses, camo duct tape, mailboxes and more. I've envisioned a small, old fashioned well like the image below-left.
And then this morning an e-mail from Harbor Freight gave me another idea......a flower cart might also work. I'm thinking smaller, built with recycled plastic, wood-like lumber and plastic flowers. The shade of the roof should allow the flowers to maintain their color longer.
Yes, they're both elaborate but it may fit the bill when your simpler, quicker idea gets shot down by your "significant other". As most cam veterans here know, WAF cannot be ignored.
I'll be the first to admit I like to inspire others with an idea, watch them go from thought to paper to reality, improve upon it and then I'll come along later and steal their creation....at least intellectually. The older I get it seems so much easier to think up stuff that I don't have the energy or wherewithal to implement...but maybe that keeps my brain going, a task that is also becoming a chore. The wife says " oh, your brain is still going, but is it going in the right direction?"
Any way, back on track...below are images of the well and the most recent, the HF flower cart.
