I got an advertising email...its not very bright but ok for poe...i think a dusk to dawn option would be better..You beat me to it, I was just going to post this. They are selling them on Amazon - Amazon.com: 8 watt PoE LED Outdoor Flood light with PIR Motion Sensor Detection, Bright White Floodlight powered by PoE, share one Ethernet cable for Light and IP Camera ( 48v PoE injector avaiable separately ): Kitchen & Dining
I got the same e-mail, would like to see some night shots.I got an advertising email...its not very bright but ok for poe...i think a dusk to dawn option would be better..
The spec sheet includes info on a 16w version as well...I got the same e-mail, would like to see some night shots.
Saw that. I have their 48v mode b injector on my rack powering all my cameras, maybe I'll pick one up and try it out.The spec sheet includes info on a 16w version as well...
As I understand the spec sheet, the camera and the light are both powered by two different poe sources.Anything much more than 8W and you have trouble powering it and a camera; that leaves 4-5W for the camera which should be enough for most fixed.
yes, or even without a camera, this allows you to add lighting without doing electrical work....So what would be the ideal application for these? Mounted near Poe camera to avoid running electrical for motion lights?

Its probably very close based on power consumption...640 is not that bright (about the same as a 60w incandescent) but enough for many applications.....there is a stronger version as well...I have been looking for something like this. This looks good wish I could see some night pics before I buy.. It says it's 640 lumens I wonder how true that is.
