NVR Upgrade?

Hi guys this is my current setup:

1 x DS-7608NI-E2/8P/A (NVR)
2 x DS-2CD2385FWD-I(2.8)
2 x DS-2CD2155FWD-I(2.8mm)

I feel i'm not getting the best image quality out of these cameras through this NVR.

Would someone be able to suggest an alternative?

The image quality comes from the cameras - the NVR just records what it's given.

What are the problems that you are experiencing?
Have you needed to reduce resolution due to limitations of the NVR?

That’s exactly what I’ve had to do. If I put 1 camera on 6mp it’s so slow really jumpy and freezes
 
Read the specs on the NVR. You are exceeding the specs.
 
You answered your own question. If you are pushing the NVR past its limits then clearly you need to upgrade to a better one or just keep lower settings on your cameras.

Hence the post asking for advice on an alternative. I went with the i series 8 port anyway.
