NVR RESET Help

If i was to hard reset the nvr by exporting the XML file.. Sending this to my seller will this also reset the passwords for all camera.

I have the following NVR

NVR DS-7608NI-K2 / 8P

Firmware Version: v3.4.104, Build 190128

Your cameras should be fine. Only the config on the NVR will be affected.

Assuming a hard reset from Hikvision as you don't know the admin password. As it's possible to do the hard reset yourself if you have the admin password -

Sending this to my seller will this also reset the passwords for all camera.

The camera passwords would then be orphaned.

Your cameras should be fine. Only the config on the NVR will be affected.

You will no longer know the password of the cameras if the NVR used its own password to activate them, which is the default.
