Have been doing a large amount of reading here over the last few days as I am looking to dive into the world of cameras to help protect my house.
I don't have a large amount of funds so am trying to piece together a good quality system on a cost vs function basis.
A lot of the crime and break ins around my area seem to happen during the day and often by people wandering around wearing hivis to "blend in" which is why I have gone for the two 4831 below. What would be a good camera to use at the front door under a small patio - I saw that the 4831 have a 4mm lens which I would assume would be to long for small front door area.
the plan so far looking to puchase Dahua from Andy (feel free to guide me in the right direction here)
