Hi, Guys

Could someone lead me in the right direction I just purchased a Dahua HCVR7816S 1080P 16 Channel tribrid DVR and Dahua IP Mini PTZ SD22204T-GN I'm not sure how to hook up the camera to the DVR. The camera has RJ45 connector and the DVR has BNC connector Do I need to purchase a POE switch?

Thanks, Jim

uh, you need to send that 'NVR' back.. its not a NVR, you got an HDCVI recorder, its HD Video over analouge BNC.. its not IP Based.

ah, well put it on a network, same with the cameras and see if they detect eachother.. you'll proabibly have to configure each device individually for your network configuration.

Tribrid does IP cameras also. If its anything like the analog plus IP Dahua NVR I setup the total fps sucks.

Send it back. You overpaid and purchased very limited hardware. Unless you intend to use analog cams, this is a very poor choice. [FONT=segoe_uiregular]Support 16ch 1080P/720P IP Camera
