Shouldn't have been speeding in the first place Unless there was a mechanical problem (i.e. stuck pedal) or if motorist was driving under the influence

Stuck pedal, ignition shut off fixes that.

Under the influence, shouldn't be behind the handlebars in the first place.

Just stupid driving and it probably cost a life or two,
