I just ordered a V2 Mini PTZ 4x cam. It won't be here for another couple of weeks. Has anyone received one of the 4x cam yet?

Thanks for helping out a beginner guys.

I'm assuming these cameras are easy to set up? Already have cat5e cables running where I would like these. I just plug them in correct?

Also, which NVR would you recommend with these cameras?

Thanks again.

well, you have to power them somehow too. I understand these are compatible with Hikvision NVR's, if you choose to go that route.

They are powered by the NVR correct? The setup I am planning is:

Camera ---cat5e---NVR---monitor

Some NVRs have PoE (power over ethernet), and others don't. So you'd just need to make sure what you buy does (assuming of course the camera you ordered is the PoE model).

Sorry klasipka, I didn't reply to the correct post,Im a noob :)
What I meant was does BI support the PTZ functions of the Huisun mini PTZ V2?
I use a TP link PoE injector to a cam and then to the LAN port of my router,I would be using my PC as the NVR.
Thanks again

I don't use BI, but apparently it does support PTZ.

I think I'm right in saying that the 7108N-SN NVRs are older models with fewer features than something like a 7608N-E2 for example.

I never tested SD card, don't know, but I am using motion detection feature and just send email notifications and it's an improvement in terms of no false alarms during day/night transition.

Does email notification also includes screenshot of the motion detected? If so, is the screenshot at least full size scale or scale down to a postage stamp size?
