Looking for an NVR that will work with any ONVIF WI-FI only cameras

A freind asked me to set up a camera system for her - she had bought a cheap fleabay system that is now unavailable and breaking down - replacement camera's are NLA.

I bought a TP Link VIGI, as it's supposed to work with ONVIF wi-fi only cameras. I've struggled for days to get it working; the camera works in it's manf app, on my pc connected direct - I downloaded Blue Iris and the camera connects and worked in seconds. The VIGI box sees the camera, but fails with an 'Unknown Error', which is about as useless as it gets. I've given up trying to troubleshoot it.

Unfortunately I can't use Blue Iris with a pc - the people using it will are not very tech savvy and just want a box that works, no frills.

Looking for suggestions please!

Log into camera's webGUI, enable ONVIF and create an ONVIF user/pass; use that same user/pass in the NVR's ONVIF setup.
Reboot camera, give the NVR some time to locate and setup for the camera.

Tried that, didn't work. I gave up; I'm currently looking for a SFF PC refurbed to use Blue Iris with!

Sorry to hear that but hey....I'm a BI user myself. Also have 3 clients using BI for the last 7 years and never a complaint from any of them....and I monitor them frequently.
