hey all...new to this so please help.

i have a long plus camera model number CP8B1 i plug into my poe network switch and im not picking up an ip address..

i have looked online for the default ip range for these cameras but cant seem to locate....i want to add to my reolink nvr if possible... says these cameras are onvif but still cant connect....

Are you sure about the make and model number? It's not "Longsee" ?

OK - then there is a possibility that the camera has come with a fixed IP address in the 192.168.1.x range
Suggestion, if the device doesn't show in the router's 'connected devices' list -
Download and install ONVIF Device Manager - it's a useful tool to have anyway, but it will find any ONVIF devices in the same network segment as the PC.


Temporarily change the PC IP address to be in the 192.168.1.x range, say 192.168.1.200
Start ODM and see if it finds the camera and shows its IP address.
If so - it should show the camera web GUI login screen.
Though you will need to know the admin password in order to change the camera network settings to either a fixed address in your LAN range, or set it to DHCP.

Is there anyway to add it to my relink nvr?
