Hi everyone,

I’m facing an issue with two Dahua IPC-HDW1530T-0280B-S6 cameras after a power outage occurred while I was updating the firmware. I managed to successfully reset one of the cameras using the pin shorting method, but the other one is not responding as expected.

The power LED on the non-working camera stays solid, even when resetting it. I’ve attempted to use the TFTP method to recover it, but I’m running into issues with finding the correct firmware. Despite searching online and contacting the manufacturer, I haven't had any luck pinpointing the right firmware version for this specific model.

The camera does respond to the TFTP connection; it shows up on my computer, but when I run the standard commands like dr, dk, du, dw, dp, dc, etc., the camera says that these commands are unknown.

Has anyone here encountered a similar issue? Or perhaps have a suggestion on the correct firmware for this model? Any tips or advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help!

UPDATE: I have successfully fixed my camera!

After some time I tried to do it again. What helped me was the Configtool!
Here's what I did
  • Change the computer's IP in Control Panel to 192.168.1.20
  • Change the camera's IP using Configtool to 192.168.1.108
  • Copy the software version from Configtool and search for it on Google
  • Find the first legit-looking result (since there was no information on which firmware to flash. I haven't even found it on the manufacturer's website, only the bullet version was there!)
  • Downloaded DH_IPC-HX1XXX-Hertz_EngSpnRus_PN_V2.800.0000000.16.R.211026.bin
  • Click the flash button (shocked - this time it was working!)
  • Wait for the camera to reboot
  • Click on the Web button in Configtool
  • THE WEB UI LOADED UP SUCCESSFULLY!
I hope this helps someone!
