I have been running 4 with mainly a test camera for now. Will be moving forward with more cams here soon and was wondering if it is ok to upgrade to 5 yet.

Yes it is definitely ok. I recently upgraded my regular machines without any issues.
I still recommend you look at Blue Iris 4 to 5 Migration Guide particularly the part about making a backup of your configuration.
+1. I have been looking at the guide on all of my migrations as well. Knock on wood, yet to have any issues at all.
