I just replaced a camera that I broke with an IPC-T3241T-ZAS that I had sitting around for a couple years. They were bought maybe a year or two apart but were the "same" camera, bought here from Andy. The door is probably 10 feet from the camera so this should have no problem coming into focus and yet this is the closest I can get to achieving focus. Am I missing something somewhere to adjust the range of focus? Thanks for any ideas!

try using the focus on speed 5. thats weird. Things get old. My 3241 has been on duty for many years. It too has some glitchy focus issues but its like 6 years old of continuous use. I finally replaced it with a IPC-54IR-ZE

Focus speed hasn't changed anything either. I can watch the image go from "single color fuzzy blob" to "I can recognize it as my front door but not in detail" but that's as far as it goes.

I'm guessing this camera is just toast which is a bummer given it was never used.

Power cycle the camera. Have you tried using a different web browser? Do you have a dedicated NVR? If so, disconnect the camera from the NVR and manage the camera through its dedicated web user interface. You can also try to set the focus through the NVR controls as well.
