I bought 2 IPC-HFW5241E-Z12E cameras from Andy at the same time. They both work OK
but I am not done setting them up. However I notice differences here and there in the firmware.
The firmware versions are the same but there are differences. Here are the two version
pages:

Notice that this camera says "Device Type".

This camera does not have the device type line.

Having worked in software for my career, this strikes me as odd.
I have to wonder what other differences are in there.

I see that there is a new firmware version available. Should I upgrade?

It would be nice, if all the cameras would have their model number on that page.
After a while, you forget the exact model number.

I have over 20 Dahua cams. It is hit or miss as to seeing the model number on that page.

As noted, model numbers aren't always there. Just run the latest FW from Andy.

Didn't I read that, going forward, all of Andy's custom FW would display the model number??

Yes, but after a while, I don't remember the camera's model number, so which firmware goes with it?
For example, I have 14 cameras and most of them, are a few years old. How can I remember all the numbers and letters?
Luckily I have them in my signature.

I keep spreadsheet with every camera listed by IP address, that includes make, model and firmware . Makes it easy to know what's what.
