IPC-HDW5231R-ZE Issues

I have 4 Device Type IPC-HDW5231R-ZE
System Version V2.800.0000010.0.R, Build Date: 2019-08-07

Having 2 main issues. First on the playback screen using the latest version of Firefox there is no markers for the timeline. IE the timeline markers are present.


2nd the DST and NPT setting will save for about 5 minutes and then go back to unchecked.


Any ideas? Thanks!

After you get this page set up the way you want it, you are clicking 'SAVE', right?

I don't use Firefox so have no idea on that issue.

If it isn’t the above then try giving the cam a reboot and try again, if that still doesn’t work try resetting it to default but make a backup of the settings first. Then try setting it and see if it sticks, then finally import your settings and again check to see if thy settings stick.

So everything works, but the web interface? How often do you need that? What browsers have you tried? With the latest firmware, the old browsers may not work. While I have never updated firmware, I do have several cameras on different firmware versions and some of the newer ones do not like...

flash this latest new firmware asap, there has some serious attack for the old firmware.

Thanks for the replies guys . Yes, I am clicking save. As part of the process I upgraded the firmware, reset to factory defaults, and set the cameras up from scratch. Still no go, it will update via NTP once and appears to hold the setting for about 5 minutes then after a few refreshes the checks for DST and NTP go to unchecked.
