IPC-Color4M-T Video Detection automatically reenables itself

I have two IPC-Color4M-T cams setup with IVS rules for motion detection and warning lights. Video Detection & Smart Motion Detection are disabled. But occasionally I'll find Video Detection & Smart Motion Detection have automatically reenabled themselves on both cams, which is super annoying since it flashes lights and sounds the siren every time it detects motion. It may have happened most recently after a brief power flicker but I'm not sure if that's the root cause. Does anyone know why this could be happening? Thanks!

I'm using Synology Surveillance Station. I've reviewed the Synology settings and had Motion Detection Algorithm Source set to the camera instead of the Surveillance Station. But I've now just set it to disabled and will see if that helps.

BI likes to turn dumb motion detection on, for reasons I can't imagine. Possibly Surveillance Station does that too? My way around it is to go into each camera GUI, set the motion detection sensitivity to zero, the threshold to max, and the time schedule to never.

It’s pretty common that these cams turn Video Detection/SMD back on after a reboot or quick power blip. Check if your NVR/VMS is pushing settings, look at watchdog/auto-reboot or firmware, and as a quick fix just kill the siren/light actions so they don’t go off every time.

Try to make a hard reset ,make sure FW is updated 250620
