IPC-Color4K-T180 mounting question?

I got my IPC-PDW5849-A180-E2-ASTE or IPC-Color4K-T180 the other day.

I installed the base mounting plate that uses 3 screws to my junction box then there is the ring part that holds the camera in place with set security screw is that the only thing that holds the turret/eye ball in?

In the picture below it looks like you put the back in first then the front and set the screw.

That is correct.

And depending on the angle you put the camera, you may need to apply a little pressure to keep the ring in place until you tighten the security screw. And then always do a little tug on it to make sure the backend actually locked.

And do not overtighten the security screw.
