IE11 not working properly on DAHUA VTO2000A

I know the IE is meant to be used with DAHUA products and not any other browser but have issues with IE11 even displaying the field names and contents of the config screens?

DAHUA how can I configure what I cannot see!!??

Try Pale Moon browser in the x86 version.

Also try ctrl-0 to reset your browser's zoom back to 100%

You will need to make changes to the security settings in IE11 that out of the box kills the Active X files that the camera will attempt to load on the local device.

Thanks for the update but;

• PALE MOON browser just the same
• IE with 100% zoom with CTRL+0, just the same

Regarding ActiveX, I am not trying to view live stream, all I need is for the text boxes and combo boxes to be populated with data as against them appearing empty.

Don't know what to do and contacted DAHUA and they will not support you unless you give them the serial numbers of the devices, which means will have to take apart the installation again to get support!!

Try SmartPSS or VDPConfig. Contact your supplier regarding potentially upgrading the firmware.

Out of curiosity, what version of WInderz are you running? Sounds like a "system" configuration problem rather than being limited to the browser.

Check under 'manage add-ons' if the Dahua web plugin is installed, enabled, and loaded.

Managed to add VTO2000A-2 in SmartPSS. Can it be upgraded from there?

And what is the username and password for VTH1550CHW-2 to be added to SmartPSS maybe it can be upgraded from SmartPSS too?
