Looking for advice on what cams to get for a single story 1500sqFt home in Calif. I read many things on Hikvision than I heard ones at Costco are nice. I'm looking for HD quality cams and just something overall I can view on Android/Apple cell when away.
You need to figure out what exactly you want to see and capture and then figure out camera placement/location. The location of where the camera will be mounted will decide what camera will work best for the location to obtain the view you want-- narrow or wide FOV fixed or varifocal. high clarity for facial recognition or just overview.
