I have used Vivotek cams on a Hikvision NVR before. It works well for the most part, except the motion feature either doesn't work at all, or is WAY too sensitive (not that big a deal, just leave it sensitive).
I really like all of the Vivotek Fisheye cams. Their aesthetics are more appealing than the Hikvision fish eyes IMO. I have a client finishing a remodel and wants a vivotek fisheye on their patio, but I currently have quoted for all Hikvision system as it's less expensive than going all Vivotek.
Has anyone played with a Vivotek fisheye on a Hikvision NVR?
I'm wondering if any of the 360 or dewarping functionalities would work.. I don't mind if you can't play with the fisheye through the Hikvision UI. I would be fine if I could split the fisheye in to 4 views using 4 separate streams which then appear on the Hikvision NVR as 4 separate camera channels...
any advice or input much appreciated!
