Hikvision IPC DS-2CD2112-I reset

Hello everyone,

I recently bought a IP Cam 2CD2112-I (Hikvision) om Ebay. It is pre-used.
I would like to add this camera to my NVR.
Therefore I need to change the network settings in the camera.

The specs of the camera are:
DS-2CD2112-I
Build 20130914
CCWR
S/N 433844860

In order to change the network settings a password is needed in the ASDP application.
The default password has no result.



The ASDP application offers an option to create an XML-file which can be send to the technical branche (see attachments)
However.... I am not able to find any information in which an adress is mentioned.

Any help???

What version of firmware does SADP show for the camera?
If it's 5.4.4. or earlier, use this URL to extract the configuration file :
http://<camera_IP_address>/System/configurationFile?auth=YWRtaW46MTEK
Then zip it up and attach here, and I'll decrypt and decode it and extract the password for you.

Thanks, the PW worked and I managed to make some changes using ASDP.
But now an other problem accurs.

The IPC refuses to work allong the other 3 IPC's on my NVR.
I already tried to switch DCHP off and supplied an static IP to the camera. No result.

The specs of the 3 other IPC's are:
DS-2CD2112-I
Firmware SW- V5.2.0_140721
These 3 cams operate flawless on my NVR, even with the 4th IPC connected.

My NVR:
DS-7604NI-SE/P
Firmware SW- V3.0.15_150528

Any idea?
 
With the 5.3.0 firmware, the camera should go to an 'Inactive' state if you use the maintenance menu to do a reset to defaults, while it is powered not on the NVR.
Then, if the NVR channel is set to Plug & Play mode, when you connect the camera to the NVR PoE port the NVR should Activate the camera and connect to the NVR.

I gave it another try, and succeeded. The IPC is running along with the other 3, although I had to add it Manualy in stead off P&P, because the IPC still has a diffrent password thand the other 3 ones.
I wil try to equal the password with the other units later
.
Never the less, thanks for your effort.
I learned a lot from it.
 
Excellent! It's always good to hear of a result.
Usually if the NVR 'Activates' the camera via a P&P PoE port, the NVR applies it's own password by default.

The admin password for the HIKVISION DS-2CD2112-I - 481461046 camera appears to be the old default of 12345
But the config file is smaller than usual.
 
Hello again, Are you able to get me the reset file for these cameras on the attached files?
i will really appreciate your assistance if you can

No problem.
The password for admin in the HIKVISION DS-2CD2110F-I - 52221314 camera is
Bcamng01!
The admin password is the same for the HIKVISION DS-2CD2120F-I - 56034225 camera.
