I recently installed two DS-2CD2732F-I(S) cameras, and I put 64GB SDXC cards from Transcend into them. After a few weeks, the first card wouldn't work anymore, and I couldn't reformat it anywhere, not in the camera and not in my computer. I sent it in to Transcend for warranty replacement and got another one back.
Now another few weeks later the second card has the same issue. I noticed that the camera reformatted the cards into 2 partitions, the first one with FAT32. I tried various tools, including the official SD card formatter (https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/), nothing works.
I don't dare to put another 64GB card into the cameras as it seems to do a VERY low level format that cannot be undone, or these cards die like flies.
Do you have more information about this, have you found a way to undo the Hikvision format?
