    Hello, Formating a new WD 4T purple surveillance hdd. Should I be concerned about which format to use? I formatted it in blocks of 1024 using EXFAT not NTFS, and seems to be working fine. Is this format ok to use? What do you think? Thank you Paul

    Formating the hard drive for best preformance { cluster size }

    Is anyone using anything but the default allocation size of 4096 bytes? Almost all my video files as as a result of motion capture are between 20 and 40 MB so I am wonder if adjusting this would provide better performance?
