I want to connect a Windows 7 laptop to the camera using an ethernet cable. It worked once before with another PC, but all I see now is this:

IVMS sees the camera, but I can't access the configuration for some reason. I tried two different PCs and performed a hard reset of the camera (unplug, hold reset button, plug in while still holding the reset button, release the button after 30 seconds).

Somebody please help, I've run out of ideas.

A direct connection? Did you set a static IP address on the laptop, in the same range as the IP address used by the camera?

What does the browser or SADP show when you connect to the camera?

I didn't try that because a) the camera didn't require that when I first connected it to another PC that one time when it worked and b) I don't know how to do that.

The browser doesn't display anything. It shows the typical "page can't be loaded" message. If I remember correctly, SADP detects the camera just like IVMS and Batch Configurator.
