Hi!

I have an problem with one of my two Hikvision DS-2CD2035FWD-I 4mm lens cameras.
Both cameras are on the exact same height, one for my front garden and one for my back garden.
Both cameras with equal settings and both with the latest firmware V5.6.0

The camera for the front garden has always very sharp image.

But for the back garden I could not get it sharp, the focus seems to be clear within 1 meters range of the camera, but the rest is not sharp.

See attached image. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this?

Can you get the seller to replace the camera? It does look like the focus has not been set properly.

If not, it is possible to change the focus yourself if you are able to do some dismantling and are careful.
The lens screws into the mount, and will be held in place with some glue on the screw threads where they enter the mount.
This can be picked off, allowing the lens to be screwed in and out of the mount as needed.
It may take a bit of force to break the remaining hold of the glue by trying to unscrew the lens.

After adjusting, if it's still quite stiff in the thread, it may not be necessary to add any replacement glue to hold it in place.
