Looking at Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I
(or updated version 2035-I )

doesn't come with a power adapter.

Leaning toward it, whats your guys experience
with this camera ?

Where could I get a cheap power supply ?

Will be using in Blue Iris.

I've been swapping out bullets in favour of turrets (3335 - faster CPU/DSP than 2332), mainly for the improved IR, but also for the reduced number of spider webs that the bullets are prone to attract.

Agree. I would only get DS-2CD2032-I because of looks and because it's slightly smaller.

I have a 3345 here but not put it up yet. Tested fine with my NVR. Chinese version is a no-brainer for Blue Iris I think.

Went with DS-2CD2032F-I 3MP / 4mm

Thankfully it was Mfg 04/2016 with the most recent firmware installed.
It was in the red & white box (US version) and no CH in serial number.
Lots of fancy settings to figure out once I get it installed this week.

Hoping to catch a better view of License plates with it.
I know I have to read into fps and all the new settings such as masking head/tail light glare on the Hikvision to get better pics.

Currently using Foscam FI9804P- 1MP / 4mm lens, so hope to see some better pics.

Attached what I get now roughly 20-25 feet away with 1MP -4mm
zoomed by vlc player
..this was a fast car going through (can read some clearer).

This one from a 1.3MP 2.8mm about 15 - 20 feet zoomed by blue iris
