Well I’m assuming the previous owner provided you the username / password. If not go ask for it and if they don’t know or won’t share.

You have very limited options from climbing up and pressing the reset switch at each camera!

Once the camera is in a default state you can activate them via SADP / Batch Tool / IVMS-4500. Once that is done you can add the cameras with the correct IP Address and username / password and they will show up as online.:thumb:

You may be able to use the password reset tool offered here:

What version of firmware does SADP show for the cameras?
Screenshot of status?
The SADP screenshot doesn't show the firmware version, or the IP address.

If the firmware version is 5.4.0 or earlier, it should be possible to extract the password by using a backdoor exploit to pull a copy of the configuration, which can then be decrypted and decoded to reveal the password.
If the camera IP address is in the same range and on the same LAN as the PC, use the following URL in the browser to see if the configuration file can be extracted.
If that works, zip it up and attach here.

http://<camera_IP_address>/System/configurationFile?auth=YWRtaW46MTEK

What is the status of this specific camera in the SADP tool? Does it show activated, the correct network attributes such as IP Address, Subnet, Gateway? Is the camera in DHCP mode vs Static ?

Better yet show us the screen capture on SADP.

If we just assume the network attributes are correct for your specific network. Along with being activated, proper user name / password.

Can you ping this camera from a computer system? Lastly what is the model number of this camera?
