Hik Connect Shows setup on online dashboard but iOS app cant get video feed

Ive recently updated a DS-7608NI-E2 / 8P/A NVR to the latest firmware so that i can use Hik Connect.

I had allot of trouble updating the firmware via IVMS and web GUI, but got it to work eventually when i put a USB stick in directly into the NVR.

I setup Hik Connect but when i try to open the location in the Hik Connect iOS app i get a "The device is offline error". Any ideas ?

Ive created a imgur folder of some screenshots from the NVR, the hik connect dashboard and the iOS app. Ive made them in an imgure folders as i couldnt post multiple images in this forum post without the images breaking for some reason.

Have you registered a hik-connect account ?

Yeah, its really strange as its showing as "online" in the hik connect account allong with another site i manage which is actually working.

Ive updated the question to add some screenshots in an image libary.

have you tried logging out of your hik-connect account on your device and logging back in

sometimes if i log onto my ipad which uses ivms-4500 and my phone uses hik-connect one
will say offline until i log out and log back in.
