Hik-Connect...share specific cameras only

Have Hikvision setup at home and need to give access to few cameras to a family member, but not all the cameras e.g. the ones inside the house. Is that possible?

I do see a share nvr option and it allows multiple cameras, but how does that work practically? Do I need two separate Hik-Connect accounts, first one is the main one with full access to nvr/all cameras. From this account, I share the nvr and specific cameras with other hik-connect user?

I know this is an old post, but figured I could answer in case anyone searches this topic in the future.

Yes. You can share specific cameras or all cameras with a user on HIK-Connect.

Also, if you get additional cameras in the future they won’t automatically show up for the shared user. You have to pull up the user and add the new cameras to their shared cameras list.
