WTB Help with which ptz camera to buy

The DS-7716NI-SP/16 has 802.3at PoE+ built in..

The Dahua should work w/the Hikvision via ONVIF... but the Hik wont know how to configure the dahua and not all features may work.. but basic video recording/playback and ptz should work.

@nayr if the NVR is 802.3at (rather than af) does that mean that you don't need a poe injector? assuming that your poe switch still has available power?
IOW, I'm looking to get a SD49225T-HNI soon, will my ltn8716-p16 be able to power the ptz without an injector?

802.3at == PoE+ and will output at minimum ~25W of power
802.3af == PoE and will output at minimum ~14W of power

The Dahua PTZ's require 802.3at (PoE+) because they draw ~23W of power..

with your 802.3at capable NVR you wont need an 802.3at PoE injector/midspan.
