Help with DS-2CD3410FD-IW - default Chinese version of 5.3.0 Build 150327

Hi guys,

I bought a DS-2CD3410FD-IW and it comes with Chinese version of 5.3.0 Build 150327
I'm new to this. Could someone please write me a short guide of how to change the language to English?

Just use chrome to translate and leave it alone, you rarely need to go in there so dont get caught up into trying to change it to English. Chrome does a great ob translating.

Ooops - you are quite right. Apologies for the misdirection.

when the cam is used as a standaloneyour option works fine. However, my Hikvision NVR does not accept the cam due to the language mismatch

Hi, the NVR is the Hikvision DS-7108N-SN with firmware V3.0.10 Build 141201

I managed to add it as an onvif model. I dont need recording or anything. Just displaying the time is enough. So this case is closed
