Hello, I am new to this forum, and it seems like there is a wealth on info here.
I recently set up a home surveillance system and I have a few questions.
I think the NVR is a hikvision but I’m not sure. The model is a HS-NVR6408-1U-P8. But that only comes up as a heivision. Any ideas what the deal is here?
Also is there a way to determine the type of camera I have from the NVR?
I see I can enable certain things like SSH on the NVR web GUI, but I cannot login, can I get to a shell from ssh?
I am also looking for a manual.
