I havent done the test on the news serie 5 Z12 camera perhaps its the same thing !

So is this new firmware for the IPC-HFW5241E-Z12E also? Where did you get it?
 
Same functionality was there in 2.800.0000000.16.R, Build Date: 2020-05-29 ....

That is the same firmware than Andy posted the other day.

So how does Manual work now? You just set it to manual mode and it keeps the same focus no matter if it switches to B/W or Color?

I have noticed that since updating to this firmware, I'm not getting video from the "Zoom and Focus" tab on IPC-HFW5442E-Z4E. I have to have the camera open in BI so I can see the video so I can actually focus manually.
 
Yes its a bug for the preview of the Zoom and focus i have the same problem

I dont know i have upgraded the firmware today !

I set it to manual focus and then switched it over to Night Profile with B/W and it didn't appear to refocus from the Day color profile. I'll see how it looks tonight when it gets darker.

Try using IE. I think the bug is with Chrome only.

I pm'd Andy about the new firm ware for my Z4E, and he said wait until he releases it. It's probably still in testing..

yes, they are using the same firmware. Right now all 4.0 AI 5 sereis use the same firmware, fixed lens and motorized lens.
