The r710 is likely drawing tons of power and can be out performed by a 150 dollar hp elitedesk with an 8th gen i5-8500. Depending on the actual processor(s) in the unit you may see a 100 percent improvement and save money on power consumption. That said even with a better system dewarping is not the way to go if using BI.
All very true. The thing about this Dell server is that is rock solid and reliable with 6 raided drives. I also run several VMs on the machine for stuff like PiHole and HomeAssistant.

I am only using one PSU at the moment and it draws around 220watts on average, which is not too bad. With 9 cameras, the CPU averages 10-15% for BI but spikes to 95+ when AI is analyzing an image from one of the feeds.

I really do need to look at upgrading to a newer desktop that will easily accept a GPU so that I can offload some of the processing to the GPU. There are options for my server for this using older TESLA cards, but fitting them in the 1U case is not likely.
