Hello everyone, I have a DH-SD50A430UN-HNI that I haven't found very much information on other than the wiki and was wondering if there's a newer firmware out there for it.
It's currently running;

If a cam accepts firmware update, is this a surefire way to know it is original and not a hacked chinese? Or can some hacked chinese ones pretending to be international ones accept firmware update too ?

I think this question has been asked for many years now at this point. I know I have asked this very same question. Still wondering when we might actual setup a wiki folder for each camera or at least each manuafacturer with the appropriate listed firmware especially since Dahua NEVER list ANY current firmware on any website. Andy seems to be the only person in the know and has access to the latest firmware. I am wondering if this is the intent of the largest camera manufacturer in the world to only let one person know where to get the latest firmware for their hardware?

PM Andy EMPIRETECANDY He will provide you an update.... The point I was making is.... This is the problem.. Dahua is fragmented... They wont help you because your not an OEM of thiers. All these cameras are ( quote un quote) supposed to be professionally installed by way overpriced USA Distributor/Installers who have no clue what they are doing...(quote un quote) Dahua deals with them only and only provides them with firmware or related questions.... Still... They answer them the same way.... Trust me there is a latest firmware for your camera and Andy will help you get it... My other point is we need one place in the Forum reserved for strictly camera firmware for each camera.... Not hodged podged around aimlessly looking for firmware like we all do.... And no one knows when it comes out and who is releasing it.... Then no one tells anyone its been released??? Is the world of Snowflakes so quality and common sense challenged that its actually like this? Do we have to wait for a Pandemic and the end of the world before we can actually get a latest firmware release and update? Oh wait... The end of the world part is already happening....

Hello,
I just bought few Ez-Ip: IPC-D2B20-ZS before I read the manual that state it support recording on NAS and SMTP email alert.
After initialize I found that there is no option to record on NAS ( only Local = SD card and FTP ) also SMTP and few other options are missing
Of course checking for new firmware from camera give me no hope as it display it is on latest fw already.
Any chance if it can be fixed / upgraded ?

Be careful..if it is doing everything you want it to do you might want to leave it alone. Use the search icon in upper right area next to your name. Type in "firmware" and 4ks2e..

I have the NVR-5232-4KS2 the latest firmware I found is (3.216.0000000.0 Build Date 2018-05-30) and it states that it is the latest version.

If anyone is interested or needs a firmware upgrade for DH IPC-HX5X3X-Rhea camera andy just sent this to me.

Curious if this June 2020 version has anymore features or serious bug fixes than the April 2020 version. I talked to Andy and he said that Dahua pulled the May 2020 version. All 11 of my HDW5231R-ZE cams are running well on April 2020 version and unless I gain something with the June 2020 version I will just stick at this version. Something like be able to view cams in Safari would be a giant leap . Thank you for the link I did download it. I have archive all versions from Aug 2018 to date.

I applied this via the web GUI to a Lorex LNB8005C that had been converted to a DH-IPC-HFW4830E-S and didn't see any obvious differences.
