I can confirm that the upgrade is worth it.

Andy - noobie question for you...I see two bin files for camera firmware updates. Which one do I use?

Also, is it better to update the camera fw through the nvr or directly using the camera UI?

I am not seeing these on the firmware list 0821 which is linked to the first page of this thread. Is this the latest firmware list?

EDIT: Found the files on Andy's website. I guess I missed the part where we are supposed to find the latest firmware there.

I suggested to Andy to list the website on Page 1/Post 1 of this Thread...
 
When clicking the firmware link for IPC-T2431T-AS-S2 but it seems deleted.
I have one camera that looses connection and has to reboot to gain funtionality again. Maybe a firmware update would fix this.

EDIT: I have the IPC-T2431T-AS and it was bought before 2023.
 
Can try a hardreset to the camera's reset button, press it for 5-7 seconds, make sure camera is powered on when you do this. Can contact me for the fw download.

Is there an update for the 54IR that gives it support for OSX versions of the major browsers? It seems it is incompatible with Chrome & Safari on OS. X - IVS is non functional and more minor features seem buggy. I have 11 Andycams and this one is not much more than decorative.

The website we posted is for IPC-HDW5231R-ZE, the IPC-HDW5231R-Z is too old, 6 years old i think ;) , too old cams we don't recommend to upgrade to the latest, easy to brick it if the fw have big time gap.

The S1 one there is no update from 231021, so you are using the latest new one.

Downloading works, but when opened it still marks it as damaged unfortunately.

I'm running macOS Sonoma btw.

Andy sent me a working version of SmartPSS lite. :D

@EMPIRETECANDY Is it possible to draw tripwire lines in SmartPSS lite? Unfortunately this isn't working correctly if I try to do this in the web interface with the browsers I tried (T54IR-ZE-S3 web 5.0), so SmartPSS lite is my last resort.
