DS-7616NI-SP Firmware

Hi all I have a DS-7616NI-SP and have never upgraded my firmware. I have never had any issues with the NVR or cameras. It's currently running V2.3.3, build 130816.

Should I upgrade it? I think my cameras are grey import though.

If so where can I get the latest version as I can't seem to find anything anywhere.

here I believe : DOWNLOAD EU PORTAL
But such a big jump of firmware will be risky.
Best leave as-is, or update to a current model, in my view.

I think my cameras are grey import though.

What model of cameras are they?
R0 series can be converted / updated.

If the serial number has CCCH in it - very likely Chinese cameras running hacked firmware.
But these can be converted and updated -

So do I upgrade my NVR first then upgrade the cameras?

I think doing an NVR update across major versions without the intermediate steps could be problematic.

It's likely that the cameras manifest as EN at the moment, so converting and updating them should be a safe enough action.
