DS-7608NI-I2-8P Beeping!!

I have bought and setup the 7608NI-I2 today. However, every now and then, the NVR insits on beeping!! Obviously the hard drive is in and working. It's just every now and then I can hear it go off!! Its got V4. There doesn't seem to be too much written up about it!

On firmware 4.1.70 I found it has rebooting problems.

The origin of this will be in the system logs - check the Maintenance menu in the NVR web GUI.
There are many exceptions that can cause a beep - even the lack of an ethernet connection can be one, a loose cable.
And if it's rebooting, as has been suggested, that will be in the logs also.

On firmware 4.1.70 I found it has rebooting problems.

I don't find any reboot problems in my system. 4.1.70

Have you tried to set up email sending? Everytime I test it on 4.1.70 it reboots.

4.1.65 is stable and email alerts work. No reboots.
