In camera management i don't have the possibility to select main stream or sub stream, only in protocol i can choose substream enable..

what firmware do you use ? I'm on 3.3.9 for now, downgrade again is possible ?

3.4.2 on all of them. Some of my cameras are US-region, all others are patched to US-region, 0 issues (All of my NVRs are US-regioned). Downgrading depends on the boot loader. I want to say 9/2015? was the cutoff of old vs. new recorders with respect to downgrading. If you look on the device label or the serial number in settings you'll see the DOM. Even so, there are checks in the firmware itself that prevent firmware downgrades, at least on the web GUI. So even if your recorder is physically unrestricted to downgrade, logically it still is, and it might be a job for TFTP and TTL/Serial console to accomplish which is a bit tedious and time consuming. Not terribly difficult once you get everything setup properly.

Per the Hikvision Portal, 3.3.4 is the latest you can fetch for the 7600s pre 3.4.x, 3.3.9 is likely a Chinese release. Is the NVR Chinese-regioned as well? If so, be extremely careful tampering with firmware.

On the resolution issue, I'll have to check mine and report back.

Downgraded to 3.3.7, same problem with ovnif and my cam. So i think i will come back to 3.4.2.

Thanks, the firmware is not compatible it seems, unable to update directly by Nvr

You must have a different model or region. That should work for any E series 7600. What does your serial number show in the middle? CCCH or BBRR AARR or anything like that? It's a 4 character letter code

This has nothing to do with DS-7608NI-E2/8P or v3.4.2 firmware for that NVR, so why post it in this thread?

You need to e-mail Hikvision support to reset the password using the SADP tool.

Can I get a link to the user manual for this new firmware? I downloaded and upgraded with the digicap.dav file, but there was no manual with it. The last manual I have says 3.3.2 and doesn't have some of the new features in it.

DS-7608NI-E2 8P A does not work with:
NVR_K51_BL_ML_STD_V3.4.62_160503.zip

Only
NVR_EXX_BL_EN_STD_V3.4.0_150929.zip

So K51 and EXX sems to be the only difference here - ANy help?

that's for the N-Ix NVRs, not the N-Ex NVRs.
