Hello,

I need your help i bought few week ago a new Hik on Ali, an DS-2CD2145F-IS V5.3.3 4MP, from this seller http://fr.aliexpress.com/item/2015-...145F-IS-V5-3-3-H-265-h265-IP/32525161354.html

The product is good, firmware is in full language.

Other after some configuation update i lost access to te cam. First one i do a Hard buton reset, use SADPTool, change IP and Cam come on again.

This time, same problem, cam not reacheable after configuration, so hard reset button needed.

The problem is now, that SADPTool doesn't detect the cam anymore .. :-( so i watch on 192.x.x.64 IP the camera is in live, led flash.

Impossible to open the 192.0.0.64 on http, i scan IP, no opened port, i change my network adress to try to join the cam, no luck in http and SADPTool.

SO what can i do ? I don't have original firmware, and seller doesn't answer anymore to my SOS (i contact him to buy another cam 5 days ago, he answer for sure.. but now.. nothing)

Can i try with origianl Firmware ? I'm afraid to get an Chinese firmware, but for the moment the cam is completly out.

Chinese firmware,last resort to mess with it firmware.

Do a hard reset again see what happens.(maybe it did do it correctly last time)

You should not have to keep hard reseting the cam. (avoid doing it, try soft reset)
 
Hi,

I do the Hard reset with button many times.
I do it like this, maybe i'm wrong

- Hold the Reset button
- Put power on the cam with POE
- Keep button pressed during 10 seconds or more
- Release button

Wait, scan Ip cam with SADPTool, no cam present, reboot cam with POE on/off, no cam.

I don't know what to do now :-(
 
With my POE Swith DLINK, all other cam are OK with it.

My hard button reset method is ok for you ?
 
i Have an 30w injector to test yes, i can do it again, not easy because cam is outside
 
Now my cam DS-2CD2145F-IS V5.3.5 is on my Desktop.
I try to do the hard reset since 1 hour without success with my axis injector, the cam is always not detected with SADPTool, the led blink fastly

any idea ?

The Firmware is V 5.3.5_150925 do you think i can found it somewhere to try an update by FTP ?

Interesting - there was one other post with the same problem a while back after configuring PPoe - but as far as I know there was no solution.

Did you give the PPoe configuration valid credentials?
The port scan results were very strange - not in any way consistent with an IP camera, more like a mail server.
And it does look like the reset button does not provide a way to recover from this.
Any thoughts / ideas from anyone?
 
Hi,
For myself the ppoe activation was an error, the cam is out since i activate it.
Hard reset seems to unworking, led always blink with hold or release, like a no wirking buton.
Yes it's exactly the same problem, i tryed to reset the cam every afternoon without success :-(
If i find the firmware i think
I will test with the ftp tool, last chance ..
 
If the camera is marked with 5.3.5 you should be able to use the 5.3.5 firmware posted elsewhere on this forum (sorry not have link) with TFTP.

If works camera will be Chinese language but at least it will work :)

Hello,

My Cam is Online again after a restore with tftpserv and the 5.3.5 Firmware :-)

The problem is now, that for sure the cam is in Full Chinese, How can i install / downgrade to an English firmware ?

Cause here i can't use it like that

Other can i change langage with hex editor for this firmware or another one ?
 
No solution to downgrade yet ?

Other, can i brick the cam if i made some test with an hex editor ?
 
Since my Cam is in Chinese, i can't use it anymore with IVMS 4200, i've Got a message saying that language is not supported :-(
is there any solution ?
