DS-2CD2035-I Doubt

Hi guys,

I have update all my 4x DS-2CD2032-I chinese cameras without a problem with the hack from here, thanks for everyone who made it and I read that the hack doesnt work on chinese DS-2CD2035-I.
My camera was bought on aliexpress and the description says "DS-2CD2035-I=DS-2CD2032-I + H.265", so is it a DS-2CD2032-I?! This camera has more smart events options than the DS-2CD2032-I, so I guess it's really different. Not sure if the hack will work.
Anyways, it's working fine, sending emails and recording ok, but I dont have the Hik-connect functionality, which I want to have. I dont' have Hikvision DVR neither, my record are made on external HD plugged on my router.
If I update with chinese firmware I guess it will work, right? Considering to do this and have one camera in chinese but have the hik-connect function.

An update may work - resulting in Chinese menus and 'language mismatch' if connecting to a Hikvision NVR.
Or the 'hacked to English' firmware may just block any update attempts, to protect you from the bad consequences of doing so.

Thanks for the reply. I could get it working in Hik-connect app using DDNS, I wont bother updating it with chinese firmware now, maybe in the future.
