DS-2CD2032-I CH version 5.1.0 !? FW update Help

Hi there Hikvision Gurus

Ive got a Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I its clearly a CH version via the serial number, its currently has 5.1.0 in full english, is this normal?!

I would leave it alone but this firmware version is missing the snapshot feature, which is the only feature i need.

What are my options to upgrade?

Presumably running seller-installed 'hacked to English' firmware.

Probably none by simply using stock firmware without it reverting to Chinese menus, or 'bricking', if it has CCCH in the serial number.

But you can convert to English and fully upgrade with this method :

5.10 was originally a multi language firmware, but still a Chinese region camera.

The simple MTD hack will allow you to up grade to the newest EU Regional firmware.
