dh-ipc-k35a firmware ?

I bought the dh-ipc-k35a from Andy about 2-3 weeks ago. It works fine on blue iris and the toolbox config tool. But on a browser it says it requires a plugin. I have tried firefox, pale moon, and edge and internet explorer. They all say a plugin is required. The camera came with version 2.400.0000000.16 R, build date 2017-08-31. Is this the most up-to-date? And if you have this camera, were you able to open it in a browser without a plugin? I have tried searches but cant seem to find a difinitive answer.

I have one on the same firmware, you will have to install the plugin if you want to use a browser, no way around it. Maybe use BI instead.
 
The IPC-K35A dahua not release any new FW. But if has any big bug or security issue, they will release some urgent fw for updating.
The K42A right now use
IPC-Consumer-Web-Mao-Molec_Eng_N_V2.800.0000000.7.R.200616
